DFA Wireless, a Cell Phone Company for Activists

Democracy for America (through a partnership with Working Assets) today launched their own wireless cell phone initiative that allows you to sign up for a cell phone plan and instead of your monthly bill going to a big corporation it goes directly to candidates and causes you support. This is some of the most out-of-the-box campaign thinking I’ve ever seen. It’ll be an interesting barometer to how technology will be used in the future for political campaigns.
